cobalt is quite incomparable to lithium and a little vexatious to try to align child labour with a li resource. Is it about 16% of cobalt being artisanal ? And many buyers wouldn’t necessarily know if some was blended in. But there is a great move to track supply through blockchain and this may give u some comfort. You simply can’t mine lithium by artisanal methods n that should put your concern to rest. However wouldn’t the ethical users concern be better addressed by bringing much needed benefits to the locals, such as education resources and infrastructure plus employment? I feel that turns your earlier response (and that of a few others) on its head. I’m sure there is room and benefits for all strong players in lithium mining.
