I'm an EV fan but frankly that is BS I don't see any mine haul trucks, crushing, floatation circuits, filtration or transport to a refinery to go through a kiln, acidification, leaching purification, crystallisation, packing drying then transport to a battery facility which also brings in the anode materials. To then start making the battery. Both technologies are a long way from green but have the potential to get there. Both technologies will be required-your not going to sail a cargo ship full of spodumene from Port Headland to China with Lithium Ion battery technology as it is now but you would be able to with hydrogen
