"Macquarie Cloud Services achieves Azure-only Expert MSP credential

Macquarie Cloud Services says that the designation will allow them to have access to Microsoft’s product roadmap, which is expected to benefit customers. Aside from the credential, the company’s revenue grew more than 200% since its official launch.

Macquarie Cloud Services has become the fastest Microsoft partner in the country to achieve the Azure-only Expert MSP credential, the company announces. The cloud services vendor claims that since its official launch in February 2020 its revenue increased by more than 200%.

Macquarie Cloud Services’ methods were assessed and verified by a Microsoft-appointed auditor to prove its credibility to customers and to meet global standards.

The Microsoft MSP designation means that Macquarie Cloud Services will be among the first providers in the world to gain access to Microsoft’s product roadmap, which is expected to benefit customers. The provider has a history of delivering exclusivity: In 2019, it was the first in the world to deliver the VeloCloud SD-WAN Virtual Edge into Azure.

The new credential also means that customers will benefit from gaining access to an exclusive Request Billing Ownership capability. This provides Macquarie with billing ownership of enterprise agreement customer Azure subscriptions, delivering cost savings, and providing the ability to integrate managed services.

Microsoft Australia director partner technology Phil Barlow congratulated the cloud services vendor on its achievement. “It’s not possible to underestimate the work and commitment involved in attaining this credential.
