Yeah, the ASX is a different machine compared to all other indexes. Remember the book/movie, rage against the machine, I reckon they were referring to the ASX, still the wild west of global markets.
Anyways, back to SQM, Chile government coffers would be smiling. They, SQM managed to lock in a 5.5% gain and ATH, while PILB, ALB, LTHM, LAC were up 2.5%, 1.5%, 8% and 6.5% respectively. Most Chinese plays also up overnight...
