Hi dfs1, Matt does state in his analysis that lithium prices are probably towards the end of stage 1, and his reasoning in the following paragraph.
In the last chart he puts forward a bullish and bearish projection out to 2023, is he not game to look further out.
IMO, its somewhat based on the demand pull, though as said more than once, lack of supply means EV and ESS adoption can only grow as fast as it can be supplied, therefore, once the end users adjust their production accordingly, demand and supply is closer to equal, balanced, regardless of EV waiting lists, etc.
