I have paid more Taxes during my years of working and we never got the subsidies you get and we didn’t have these great big houses with all the mod cons, so please when you reply to us older investors, we have less money to invest than you do.
Let us get down to the most important thing for us is EV’s battery material, as we invested in Australian Mining companies supplying these
Let just take a comparison with Vehicles sold in 2019 as a comparison EV’s and fuel cars worldwide compared with Australia.
The total EV’s a sold, 1,062867 compared with Australia total of 6718 vehicles.
Total of other vehicles sold 65,505,300, worldwide compared to Australia 1,062,000.The cost of a temporary reduction in fuel excise of 10 cents a litre for six months would cost the government $1.5 billion.17,158,195cars in Australia
That's 92.5% of households that have a car.(The estimates on fuel costs are based on a vehicle travelling 14,000 km per year with an estimate of 66% of the driving taking place in urban driving conditions. Individual circumstances such as fuel prices can alter the estimated fuel costs for the year.)• The average two car household ownership costs added up to $16,912 in 2019 • Metropolitan households pay more than regional households on transport costs $18,596 vs $14,988.• The average cost of transport for an Australian household is 13.8 percent of total annual income. • • The Australian Automobile Association’s (AAA) March 2019 Transport Affordability Index reported the average two-car Australian household (two adults, two children) pays $68.99 for fuel every week. That amounts to over $3,500 per year! Source: AAA Transport Affordability Index• 0.6L Electric Plug-in Electric/Petrol 95RON, 1 Spd, 4 door 4 seat Sedan, 2WD• Combined – 0.6L/100km, Urban – 5.7L/100km, Extra – 0.2L/100km• Total fuel cost for the year = $595 I am angry at comments that say the things you said so you will get replies like this.I am happy for tell me where my figures are incorrect as I only have the internet for this.My point is EV’s are our future and we need them for our mining supplies, you do the maths in cost for 10% against the 10cents off for 6 months.
