Pretty sure there are no long term contracts not linked to current pricing. Our contract partners have realised the reality of the situation. At one stage if I remember rightly one of these partners did need more persuasion than the others but fell in line. I haven't got my head around how it works but one of the guys on here who I must say is pretty spot on with his information, again from memory, suggested the price received when final adjustments are made, may actually approach the $US5000 per ton mark for this quarter. We wish. The only figure proferred, and only verbally, came from KB who suggested a range of $US4300 to $US 4700. Management are proud of their price realisation compared to many of the others. And so am I.
I think I have convinced myself I am a happy holder. Unfortunately maxed out super fund with PLS and can't buy more at these prices. Not interested in buying outside of super. Hope that helps. IMO. DYOR.[/QUOTE

Given the April and this weeks BMX auctions, I reckon PLS management have assured they will fetch at least, top end of guidance for contract pricing ($4,300 to 4,700) for this quarter. The difference between current spot and contract pricing on a 6% basis at $4,700 is $1,630pt, thus it's possible we fetch a higher, say $5,000 for contract pricing once all the adjustment are done a dusted at end of quarter.
Amazingly, I would have been happy with $1,630pt this time last year.
Oh, decent leads from overseas plays and markets overnight
