Let's exclude Australia for the point of arguments because we're years behind in terms of EV market penetration.
The likes of the USA and Europe already have cost comparable EV models to choose from in most segments, I would think for anyone looking to buy a new car in those countries EV would be a definite consideration.
As for energy storage, expect some heavy incentives for battery storage over the next 4 years as Labor pushes their new climate targets. (In my opinion)
