Plug-In EV sales (PHEV + BEV) +400,000 in May 2022 up 109% y-o-y and representing 31% market share in China. China is on trend for 6 mill units in 2022, following 3.2m sales last year, thus projection are roughly 88% y-o-y growth, while lithium supply growth is at ~20%. Remember, 2nd half of calendar year for EV sales has historically been stronger than 1st half, and in China last year, sales in 2nd half were double 1st half. I've stocked up on popcorn, waiting for the chaos in China lithium prices to begin....
