Yes, hydroxide significantly more profitable, and any spod converted to hydroxide is spod that isn't available on the market, further reducing supplies and putting upward pressure on prices.
Another OZ company, SYA, is also planning to produce hydroxide (in Canada) if SYA's bid for the North American Lithium plant is approved by the court. (declaring an interest in SYA)
This point in time of the lithium journey is an excellent moment for lithium miners, such as PLS, to be implementing value adding of this type.
