I notice you snuck in the term 'renewables' which includes hydro and nuclear. I referred only to wind and solar. I'm a big supporter of hydro and nuclear as it actually works without subsidies.
Let's be accurate here - a bit like throwing in 'climate change' to mean MMGW - two totally different concepts.
