Ok this is currently a $250K car, but the manufacturers aim to get the price down on a people's version to $30k.
Even if they dont get all the way there, the principles and the design goals are laudible.
Features 60 kwh battery, and in certain sunny conditions only needs to be charged 9 times per year. Solar panels on top, almost zero rolling resistance, electric motor in each wheel.
