True, but PLS now has a consistently large revenue stream whereas in previous years they were still increasing their output significantly. Shareholder feel much more confident when there is guidance, and share prices react accordingly. Guidance is often given as a likely range, lower end and higher end, which would be great.
No guidance would be a drag on share prices but would not be a long term problem for PLS.
