IMHO and based on experiences fundies from my friends, this is typical their play for "scare" tactic and playing down the momentum. It is not retail like us, even though there will be profit takers but it is small. Fundies always do this every day and do the trades between themselves and their circles like ping pong (cross trade etc). They will not lose anything but they will accumulate and this is normal in their play to do this.
We retail investors just relax, watch and if someone is playing very hard we top up and wait for long time, this is the only way we retail can invest.
