I doubt if there is such an animal as an "ICE Devotee". . There would be plenty of ICE drivers like myself who at this stage of the EV evolution would not even consider an EV for all the obvious reasons. As the range available increases, the price comes down and the charging/infrastructure is developed to a workable state, I am sure I will view an EV to be a viable option worth consideration as an alternative to ICE. I won't need some dumb politician to make that decision for me by banning some vehicles and offering incentives for others. The politicians are doing a good job of stuffing the world power grid for no good reason, so why would we wish them to do the same to the transport system..
