I can tell you, there are not massive distances between states in the UK, there are no states.
Besides, I was there three years ago and there were ev charging stations everywhere and the same in most of Western Europe.
In Australia you can drive from Melbourne to Cairns using ev charging stations all the way.
Ev charging stations can be located anywhere there is a source of electricity, so everywhere.
Far easier to build a solar array with battery in the middle of the Nullarbor Plains than it is to create a reliable supply of hydrogen.
