Thinking out loud. Imagine when car makers get so desperate for raw material feedstock, that in order to secure supply, contracts start getting developed for the miner to capture % of the car makers sales downstream (or something similar)? Someone like PLS could then capture up stream (ie. BMX), mid-stream (ie. POSCO plant/Calix), and completely downstream (eg. % of car maker sales).
Just a thought - I'm doubtful it'd happen, however when car makers really start getting desperate - probably can't write anything off? PLS always talks about wanting to move further downstream and that's about as downstream as you can get.
Anyways happy to sit back and let the execs do what they do best - they've done a stellar job up until this point!
