The shift from horse and cart to the motor car.
The shift from wireless to TV.
The shift from landline to mobile.
They were monumental advancements in technology, transport and information sharing.
Electric motors have been around for ever.
Chucking them in a car to replace ICE as a propulsion method is not in the same ballpark.
Not even close.
All it's doing is shifting the emissions upstream and downstream.
Take the blinkers off and look at this with some perspective.
A more accurate comparison (if you are using consumer products) would be the shift from say, vinyl records to CDs.
Just because I think the ICE should not be mandated out of existence, does not make me anti EV.
If an EV will work for you, I totally think you should get one.
