Why increase grade?
The plants can make SC6.0.
It’s not because of inability to make a higher grade spod that we ship SC5.5/5.4/5.3. We choose to make a lower grade because the customers are desperate for lithia units and it costs us disproportionately less to make the lower grade to meet their demand - as in we make a higher percentage profit margin selling that lower grade product. To make higher grade and sell it doesn’t make sense at this point in time when greater profit is generated by making the grade we do.
