All relevant questions. As I have said before I tend to skirt around climate discussions on here. One very significant question you pose is the amount of power required to run a world of electric transport. That is a big question for those focused on climate impacts. It won't come from battery supported renewables because as Lomborg states there is only enough battery backup today to provide power for 1 min 15 seconds and by 2030 that will increase to 10 minutes. This will increase of course, but so will power demand caused by EV adoption.. With personal transport providing only 16% of global emissions the resultant emissions reduction provided by EV is unlikely to have significant effect on the climate (assuming you accept the CO2 hypothesis in the first place). Only In my humble opinion of course.
