You do realize thousands of people in OZ have lost their homes ? with No insurance, and even if you have it the ins companies will barely pay out. Fires floods. The next drought will be the mother of all droughts, and most of the primary industry will be wiped out. Lets see food price inflation then.

Record floods, record high temperatures, record fires, record Cyclones, record amounts of melt, record amounts of acidification of the oceans. You can kiss the GrtBReef good bye, it will not survive another mass bleaching WHICH IS A CERTAINTY. Ocean temperatures rising faster than air temperatures now. Greenland will not be white - it'll be dark green / black, and we'll see rapid rapid CC acceleration
In this situation, a bit of alarm is what's required to get ppl motivated to take the actions to save our species and all the others, who are bystanders to human folly.
