Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley and Credit Suisse are on the same boat. I think it's not incompetence but it's intentional - likely to delay the transition to clean energy as their main interests are still entangled in fossil fuels. Or their biggest clients, I don't know. They can't revert the trend but they can delay it by underinvestment. They also have suspiciously low price targets for Albemarle and SQL, like for example Credit Suisse has $200 target for ALB while it's currently at $315...
