Using this link, https://www.mining.com/web/the-key-minerals-in-an-ev-battery/ we can work out what contributes how much to the costs. Using $80,000 per ton of LiCO3 (99%), raw lithium is about under USD500 per car. I think Nickel/Cobalt are the main cost factor for high performance car battery. This is why Indonesia want to make battery with Australian Lithium. They're the main nickel producer.
