there's quite a few layers to unpack here isn't there. Such a dynamic world we currently live in. It boggles my mind to think what the future might hold with the realities of EV vs ICE. In 2020 we bought a new SR5 Dual Cab and at the time I was thinking (and still do) perhaps this is the last new ICE we will purchase and maybe our next car will be either a hybrid (probably more practical until infrastructure catches up) or a full EV. I guess too cost will always sway buyers so there will be the invariable tug of war between the industries, then the taxes, costs of fuel VS EV etc etc... anyway it does make for an interesting discussion on the future of the world...
