I think that there may be a crossroad for PLS there.
Option #1 would be to diversify its assets and maybe buying some in North America could be a good move but seeing how strategic lithium is for both the military and the decarbonization of the economy, I wonder if the US Government would be ok for a foreign company to get their hands on it even coming from an allied country.
In any case this would produce an almost arithmetic growth
Option #2 would be to go downstream in the production process and start refining lithium which could be done onshore or offshore. This could have the potential to produce exponential growth to the company.
TBD what option the company chooses but I have a hunch that it may be option #2
