It will be very interesting to see what the delivery date window is on this auction.
I'm pretty sure they said not to expect any more BMX auctions this calender year so this was completely unexpected for me.
Its left me thinking the delivery date might be some time around March 23 after they have completed their contracted tonnage catchup.
If this is the case then it would mean this auction is pretty much a futures contract (they did the same thing with one of the early BMX auctions).
This would indicate the competing converters have a bullish outlook on pricing next year, IMO. Why pay this price if prices are going to be lower next year.
Either way its still a great result and if my crazy theory is correct maybe it was done by the BOD as a warning shot to the analysts/clowns with the rubbish they have been spruiking about Lithium prices tanking.
It would be even better if a full salvo of shots (announcements) follows this sighter round, and again that is a strong possibility.
Did someone say P1000?
