I have been wondering the same thing - I'm recently in PLS at low 4s after spending six+ months on the side line. I'm inexperienced with no financial background but generally know my way around a spreadsheet and have some idea of what's going on it the world.
Considering longer term from your post...
The way the world is heading in terms of EV (and other battery powered initiatives) targets, with a company holding a shed load of cash and assets that are going to make them a shed load more cash for the next 10+ years (let alone investment into additional, and/or diversification into other assets), dividends, solid management, I'm sure there's much more I'm missing - outside of force majeure or complete and utter economic or social meltdown, how can PLS not be a sure thing?
I get the price will fluctuate and day traders and instos will do their thing but from my complete rookie eye, PLS is one of the main players in a commodity only increasing in supply = win. Am I missing something?
