What's all this about milk?
I was a paper boy in the early sixties for Thrupence a week in Wales. (twas slave labour and I learned to keep moving as the wellies were cold in the snow)
I did learn some tenacity so there is good value in that besides money.
Bit like PLS fighting to survive the tough times a few years ago
We all lived in a size 10 shoebox, but it didn't have a lid and the wellies were shared.
It was as a lot tougher in those days. The lack of money was the root of all evil.
