Here's another thought bubble on why PLS is crazily undervalued IMO:
- Watch this new RockStock Episode, its another gem by the RK Equity guys.
- At about 21 minutes in they note that based on expected 2023 EBITDA's, Albemarle (ALB) and Allkem (AKE) are trading at a 5:1 ratio with current share price
- PLS EBITDA for 2023 from approx 600,000t of Spodumene at a conservative $5,500USD/t after opex is... $3.3B USD, so approx. $5B AUD
- PLS EBITDA for 2023 vs current share price is at a 2.3:1 ratio right now vs the 5:1 that AKE and ALB are right now.
- That's more than half the equivalent share price of ALB and AKE.
- PLS share price at a 5:1 ratio based of expected 2023 EBITDA would be $8.00 - $9.47... (see below matrix)
Imagine the ratio in 2024 and 2025 when POSCO is fully operational, we're at P1000, and CALIX JV is ramping up.
I know where I'm putting my money in 2023, its pretty crazy to think that PLS is so undervalued vs its competitors.
