Today is the last day that Hyundai will sell an ICE vehicle in Norway. Won’t be long and Hyundai will announce this worldwide, joining only a few other manufacturers as having a purely electric range.

IMO, Hyundai have made a great start, discounting their initial problems with LG batteries. The Ionic 5 has been successful and its KIA EV6 sister (same EV platform) also receiving great reviews.

PLS is an obvious beneficiary of SK OEM success.

Now, a subject which continually comes up on the threads, is the grid capable of supporting a 100% transport sector? I’ll cut to the summary of below linked study article regarding Norway’s grid. Yes. It just requires smart demand scheduling, not dumb charge as you please scheduling.
