regardless of whether green hydrogen is feasible I can see that for 40 years LPG gas has been considerably cheaper than petrol but very few people converted their cars to run on gas - and I dont remember any factory making gas powered cars.
I just cant imagine another large distribution and storage network for a fuel with very complex handling requirements.
