No doubt lots of stratergy from Tesla. Not long ago prices were increased. My take was a revenue grab to cover the risk associated with the coincedental start up of two new factories. Now that they are probably close to break even , or past, sales stratergy, price reductions prior to model and range upgrades can be afforded. I'm expecting the new model 3 + interior upgrades to pitch itself closer to traditional OEM options and a new longer ranger option( with Catl's new battery) .You can't expect to be paying a premium if you are not a leader in the market.
As for a new Giga press on the way to Asia and a probable Asian factory outside China, I'd say Tesla and lithiun demand are heading in one direction.
