Something else I forgot to point out, but hopefully should be easily seen is the cost of production for the converter.
A converter needs to purchase 8x spod + converter costs and then what is left is their profit.
So something along the lines of (8x * $6000) + (approx $5000) = $53,000. So a converter would make profit only if the price of lithium exceeded $53K.
This is why the profit margins are king at the moment with the spod and brine producers. They are laughing all the way to the bank!
Therefore, for as long as the spod producers like PLS are obtaining such high prices that is the sign that lithium chemicals are not coming down heavily anytime soon. Spod price is the canary in the coal mine!
If you understand all these dynamics as the basics you can't go wrong.
