Something some individuals choose to ignore. From early next year, 315kt going to SK. Existing customers who remain on their best behavior, will account for just shy of another 300kt, with the remaining production to be available for well behaved existing customers, BMX or Tolling as mentioned by Dale in the CC.
Thanks Buggo for the BMX tracking. I shall use for the following facts.
Since commencing BMX, a total of 83kt has been auctioned or sold pre. In Q1-2 2022, a total of 40kt has been sold via BMX which is 13% of the 309kt produced.
The average price obtained since July 2022 is US $7,098.75, well below the latest auction price of US $7552.
Hardly reason to panic as some would like to suggest we do. Only 13% going to BMX, spot bids still well above the 6 month average and contract price’s continuing to increase.
So many options for PLS being in such a dominant position. BMX will continue to be a useful tool. It may well be used to sell Hydroxide that PLS owns through a Tolling arrangement.
