Green hydrogen is made by electrolysis. This process is not very efficient and neither are hydrogen fuel cells. It means hydrogen powered cars use 1.6 to 1.8 times the electricity to travel the same distance as an EV. Already poeple are concerned about where all the electricity will come from to power 100% EVs so with hydrogen powered car this would be a much bigger problem. That's why hydrogen isn't going anywhere.
