The best thing for me is the safeguard mechanism - if prices drop, pls margin goes down balanced by increased volume.
For some new producers that might mean going out of business, for some new developers that might mean not getting off the ground which then equates to lower supply driving higher prices again. We might see a repetition of the 2017-2022 cycle with a few M&A opportunities over the next 10-25 years.
Apart from fundamental change in battery tech I do not see this changing materially
