Recent tweet from Hooper of RK Equity on supply/demand and prices situation looks positive. ESS = energy storage systems. Noticed that BYD (biggest EV maker in China) had 59% YOY growth in January in spite of the Tesla price cuts and the local holidays. Contract price still at record levels (they trail spot prices).
Spot price for battery grade at 479,600 yuan as of the 6th of February. Running into some technical support lines which might coincide with Hooper's assessment of price stability.
