I must remember that our EV is worse than our remaining ICE cars on “any meaningful metrics you wish to use” when I next look at the total energy cost to me and total cost of ownership to me over life of vehicle - or I could just recognise, oh yeah, it’s surplus energy from the roof that fuels that car now for the daily drive, now where did I put that crude oil I was pumping into my home chem plant to refill that other one (‘cause I’m flat out of used chip oil at the moment due to the nationwide chip shortages).
