I would say from observation on HC that quite a few shareholders are new investors on stock market ever. If you're not familiar with ex div day then you're new or probably never been paid a dividend. Nothing bad about it really, just curiosity. Not sure how the "fresh" shareholders can understand or how would one behave when things do not go their way.
