This article came out after the market closed yesterday. Seems the Chinese battery manufacturers are really ramping up production, up 60.4% YoY. First 2 months of the year are well up on last year. Not sure if lithium carbonate production has increased by a similar amount.
'In February, China's power battery installed base was 21.9 GWh, up 60.4 percent year-on-year and up 36.0 percent from January, according to data released today by the China Automotive Battery Innovation Alliance (CABIA).'
