EU then Japan and soon Korea can access the $7500 credit for EV they make at home sell to America. The US wants allies to join in and build up the supply chain. The question is where to source Li when most Austrlian spod is shipped to China. Most spod is in contract with China but probably not long term. However, we still have a situation where China has to compete with Japan, Korea, EU and the US for source. I saw a tweeter that spod finally up in China market.
