Some cracking cars in that list, agreed.

But you're being somewhat misleading.
Being IN the ICE price range is in no way the same as being the same price as an EQUIVALENT petrol powered car.

Literally the first car on the list, the Fiat 500e, proves this point.

The outgoing Fiat 500 could be had for $23 100.
The new Fiat 500e has a starting price of $52 000 PLUS on roads, with a claimed range of 311km.

So the equivalent EV is more than double the price.

The Kia EV6, I do quite like.
But if we compare the EV6GT to the petrol powered Seltos GT (which looks about the same size, although happy to be corrected), again the price difference becomes obvious.
EV6GT - $100k
Seltos GT - $47k

I think the longest range mentioned within the list you sent was 610km (claimed).
So just over 60% of the 1000km range you claim "a lot" of EVs are currently capable of.

I'm not trying to argue with you here, or be obtuse.

But you were the one who called out misinformation, yet seem to be the one actually spreading misinformation.

There's no doubt PLENTY of misinformation about EVs that the petrol heads spout.
But I try my absolute best to ensure it's not from me.

It should be called out on both sides.
