I do not look at this forum to often so apologies if any else has posted. In the past we have looked at technologies such as Sodium as an alternative to Li but because of energy density we have dismissed the idea. BLD have produced a cheap Sodium car and maybe range or performance is not brilliant, it is cheap.
Other tech's such as Lithium air could be commercially available in a few years (4 times energy density of Li ion, so will use a lot less Li). Long term holders need to think about Li demand in the future as it seems that everyone at the moment is blinkered thinking that there are no risks. As an LTR holder also, i have posted the same link as some think their SP should attract an offer of $10 from ALB. Interested to see what others think. I know nothing will happen immediately, there are too many Giga factories out there and it takes time to change technology but what do long term holders think?
