Wow the mind boggles with the associated ramifications. Those OEM's/EV's excluded will be under the pump, given the trend EV's continue to eat ICEV's lunch and dinner. Those excluded will need to pivot fast, the scramble is on for young and old, ~ 3 to 4 chem conversion facilities underway in the US, therefore I agree, diversification definitely on the horizon, and from my perspective the middle kingdom have played the wrong cards wrt to recent shenanigans over the past months.
Australian government know this, hence the announcement from the minister last week, not virtue signalling, AIMO.
