You are confusing a corrupt person and the company.
Just like becuase of few/some bad priest doesnt make catholic church a brotherhood of pedofiles.
Its the same for brokers, I am sure there are brokers out there who used inside knowledge, but I can guarantee you unless they were an imbecile they would not have used their personal account!
Furthermore I am not a broker, but work for an ASX50 listed company and senior enough to get proce sensitive information before release. What I tell my staff, if you are tempted to play the game, make sure it is big score, becuase if they get caught, they will be fired and we report to ASIC and the police.
