There ya go Nev, the disconnect is there to see, spod prices down 16% from BMI's all time high of ~US$6,000pt, relative to 70% for carbonate chems. I guess its convenient for the BEOT to throw all the different product and regional prices together to reinforce their dodgy narrative, yes narrative, not analysis.
I'm also seeing hydroxide lagging carbonate price decline, which the decline on the former will halt soon, as tech grade carbonate becomes too expensive to reprocess to produce hydroxide, only a very small window now.
Prices of spodumene, the lithium-bearing rock mined in Australia, have fallen 16% from last year’s all-time highs, data from Benchmark Mineral Intelligence show.
