Your playing Texas Hold em and the guy across the table makes a bet, out of the blue, that
you cannot rap your mind around, with no tell whatsoever. That is how I currently feel about
the rapidly growing short position. It has gone from 76 million shares to 180 million shares
over the past month or so. That is $860 million Australian. The price of lithium is making a strong
move up. A 2023 supply deficit is now generally accepted. The sector is alive with mergers and
potential acquisitions. The company is in great shape and making tons of money. Are these guys
making such an enormous bet in anticipation of some kind of black swan event????
Do these guys have so much control over the market that they can make such an outlandish bet
with such impunity? For me, baring a black swan event, this stock is still way way undervalued.
Anyone reading this situation differently?
