Excuse my ignorance if this is a stupid question, just trying to increase my knowledge of Shorting.
Last Friday, 19th, shortman recorded the Net short position for PLS as increasing by 0.31%.
The ASX gross short sales for the same day on PLS were 0.14%
Maybe I'm misunderstanding something, but those with better knowledge can perhaps explain how, regardless of the short covering that day, gross short sales of 0.14% can translate into a 0.31% increase in short position?
