It is really good that so many members of this forum share their knowledge and strategies in regard to enable them to achieve their personal ambitions. As a comparative newbie I look forward daily to reading the contributions. What I have learned so far is that it appears that different personal situations require different strategies. In my particular case I am probably different to 90% of the PLS brigade, considering that I will be 84 in a couple of weeks time, so I obviously have no LT aspirations. All I wish to achieve is to eventually make the investment supplement one Centrelink pension instead of two when the time comes. I am certainly not complaining, as I have a strategy of holding 75% and trading 25%. My entry was 71c and as I have increased my holdings, average buy is $2.99. The portfolio shows an increase of 50%. I have every confidence In PLS continuing to make further gains and of course the divvies are an extra bonus.
