That may be the case for companies that need funding, as PLS did during the Lithium enema years 2019/20. Somehow, the management of this company steered PLS through those hard times and avoided what happened to Altura and others. Shorts reached >10%.

PLS doesn't need funding. $3B in the bank and cheap government agency loans that really aren't required, we'll take them anyway.

The shorts can F^(& around as much as they want. PLS is making a motza and don't need funding to grow the company. They won't destroy PLS. They are just an annoyance like a flea is to a dog. They annoy folk who want to sell their holdings to take profit at a particular time. That time may just line up with shorter activity at extremes like now.

Personally, I think they are pushing shite up hill. At some stage, the shite ball is going to roll back down and they'll be in it.

The short position won't change the profit this company makes.
